Jenni: A Serif That Speaks With Quiet Confidence

Where to Use Jenni—And Where to Pause

Practical Designer Notes You’ll Actually Use

  1. Test it in black and white first. Jenni’s warmth comes through best without color distraction—verify contrast and balance early.
  2. Check small-size readability on real mockups. Print a product label at actual scale. View a social post thumbnail on mobile. Don’t rely on screen previews alone.
  3. Compare uppercase vs. lowercase usage. Jenni’s caps have subtle heft—great for logos—but its lowercase has more personality. Match case choice to your intent.
  4. Review spacing—kerning and tracking—manually. Auto-spacing rarely captures Jenni’s organic rhythm. Tighten “To” or “AV”; loosen “Wa” or “Ty”. Adjust per use case.
  5. Test font pairing in context. Try Jenni beside one serif (e.g., Merriweather), one sans serif (e.g., Lato), one script (e.g., Pacifico), one handwritten (e.g., Caveat), and one display font (e.g., Playfair Display). Note where contrast feels supportive—not jarring.
